Signing of a Cooperation Protocol (MoU) Between GLOCA and the Bülbülzade Vakif

Aleppo, 2025 – The Global Organization for Civil Advancement (GLOCA) and the Bülbülzade Vakif for Education, Health, and Solidarity have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at enhancing cooperation in the fields of community development, education, humanitarian aid, research, and digital transformation in both Turkey and Syria.

This agreement seeks to empower women and youth, strengthen civil society activities, and encourage academic research and studies. It also aims to implement joint projects focusing on urban indicators and developmental planning. Additionally, the collaboration will extend to culture, arts, sports, health, food security, housing, hygiene, and access to clean drinking water to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of humanitarian aid to as many beneficiaries as possible.

Collaboration in Research and Digital Transformation

The protocol stipulates that both parties will work together in analyzing urban indicators, conducting data-driven studies, supporting digital transformation processes, and promoting sustainable development. Collaboration with universities, academic institutions, and experts will facilitate scientific research and the sharing of findings with the public and policymakers to develop effective development policies.

A Strong Partnership for Sustainable Solutions

This strategic cooperation aims to enhance the role of civil society organizations, improve living conditions for communities, and build societies that are more resilient to crises. Both parties will exchange information and resources to maximize their impact in humanitarian aid, community development, and the implementation of comprehensive and sustainable projects.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on behalf of GLOCA by Mr. Wasim ALHAJ Director of the GLOCA, and on behalf of the Bülbülzade Vakif by Mr. Turgay Aldemir. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening mutual cooperation in a way that serves development and stability in the region.
