In an official meeting, the Minister of Interior of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Ali Abdulrahman Keda, met with Wasim Al-Haj, Executive Director of the Global Organization for Civil Society Advancement (GLOCA), along with his team, and Ayman Ayoub, Middle East Director at the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance (DCAF). The delegation congratulated the Minister on assuming his new role and discussed the current security situation and challenges facing Syria.

During the meeting, the participants emphasized the importance of supporting the government's efforts to achieve sustainable security and enhance community stability through the development of comprehensive civil security strategies. Discussions also focused on potential collaboration between GLOCA, DCAF, and the Ministry of Interior to develop initiatives that strengthen security governance and support reforms aimed at improving the safety and well-being of Syrian society.
