Project Cycle Management (PCM) Training in Syria – Strengthening the Capacities of Healthcare Institutions | GLOCA & UOSSM

As part of ongoing efforts to support the health sector in Northwest Syria, the Global Organization for Civil Society Advancement (GLOCA), in collaboration with the Union of Medical Relief and Care Organizations (UOSSM), conducted a specialized Project Cycle Management (PCM) training to enhance the capacities of healthcare institutions and empower them to implement sustainable and effective projects.

Specialized Training to Enhance Practical Skills

A total of 31 trainees representing various healthcare entities participated in the program, which combined theoretical and practical training to provide hands-on experience in:
🔹 Developing funding proposals to ensure project sustainability.
🔹 Strategic planning and risk analysis to optimize project success.
🔹 Monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to enhance program efficiency.

An Interactive Learning Environment via the Shabab PRO Platform

Beyond in-person sessions, the training was reinforced through the Shabab PRO platform, offering technical support that enabled participants to stay connected with trainers and access modern learning resources.

Towards a More Efficient and Sustainable Health Sector

This training contributed to enhancing the competencies of healthcare professionals, equipping them with essential tools to improve project management and boost the quality of healthcare services provided to Syrian communities.
