Overview
On 5 July 2025, Advancing Civil Society - GLOCA implemented a two-day intensive physical training program in Aleppo for members of the subcommittees of the People’s Assembly elections, in cooperation with the Higher Committee for the People’s Assembly Elections. The training engaged 50 participants and focused on strengthening the legal, procedural, and operational capacities needed to manage the electoral process with transparency and integrity.
Training Focus
The program introduced participants to the legal framework governing the elections, nomination procedures, the role of the electoral body, and the responsibilities of subcommittee members during the electoral process. It also addressed transparency safeguards, prevention of electoral violations, and mechanisms for resolving simple disputes during election procedures.
