Strategic Objective: Empowering youth by developing their leadership and technical skills and enhancing their active participation in society to achieve sustainable development.
Context
Amid the increasing exclusion of national and ethnic identities, Shabab Pro provides a "virtual homeland" for Syrian youth across conflict zones. The program combines knowledge, academic education, and cross-border networks and connections. It aims to counter the isolation experienced by young people, promote peace and social cohesion, and foster trust, mutual understanding, idea exchange, and dialogue among diverse groups. Additionally, the program addresses shared challenges and offers a flexible environment that contributes to achieving lasting positive change and a safer future.
Shabab Pro is a virtual program aimed at enhancing interaction, communication, and capacity building among Syrian youth. The program targets thousands of university students and graduates residing inside Syria, aged between 18 and 39. It seeks to develop participants’ skills in leadership, citizenship, and inclusive technologies, thereby strengthening their role in community building and paving the way for Syria’s future.
