On February 18, 2023, the Shabab PRO Platform, one of the projects of Advancing Civil Society - GLOCA, organized a political seminar titled “Humanitarian Diplomacy” under its Youth Political Participation track.

The seminar was presented by Saad Baroud, a lecturer in international political science. It introduced participants to the concept of humanitarian diplomacy, its objectives, methodological approaches, and key tactical models.

The session aimed to strengthen young people’s understanding of the different forms of diplomatic engagement and the role of humanitarian diplomacy in advancing humanitarian priorities, influencing decision-makers, and supporting responses to crises and community needs.
