How to Reach Talaqi Center?
Talaqi Center for Dialogue and Civic Encounter, hosted by Advancing Civil Society - GLOCA, is located in Old Aleppo – Al-Jdeideh – Bab Al-Qasab, near the Greek Orthodox Church of Our Lady. The place was formerly known as Kan Zaman Restaurant.
Due to the historic character of the area and the multiple internal walking routes, direct car access to the center entrance may not always be possible. Visitors are therefore advised to park in one of the nearby locations and continue on foot by following the walking routes shown on the map.
Use the Map to Reach the Center
The map below shows the nearby parking locations and the suggested walking routes to Talaqi Center. Visitors can park at one of the following three locations: opposite Souq Al-Souf, Al-Hatab Square, or Farhat Square, then continue on foot toward the center through the marked routes.

Parking Opposite Souq Al-Souf
Park in the area opposite Souq Al-Souf, then continue on foot toward Bab Al-Qasab until reaching Talaqi Center.
2-minute walkAl-Hatab Square
Reach Al-Hatab Square from Al-Khandaq Street. If no suitable space is available opposite Souq Al-Souf, continue to Al-Hatab Square, park there, and then walk toward the center.
4-minute walkFarhat Square
Park at Farhat Square, then continue on foot toward Talaqi Center through the route shown on the map.
4-minute walkAdditional Walking Route from Souq Al-Manati
Visitors may also reach the center on foot from Souq Al-Manati, especially when arriving from the Al-Tallal entrance, by heading toward Bab Al-Qasab and then following the internal route to Talaqi Center.
