Overview
On 10 July 2025, Advancing Civil Society - GLOCA, in cooperation with the Directorate of Social Affairs in Aleppo, implemented a two-day physical training in Aleppo titled “Data Analysis Skills.” The training was delivered by Noor Nabhan and facilitated by Ahmad Kardosh, with the participation of 50 participants from the Directorate and civil society organizations.
Training Focus
The training focused on strengthening participants’ skills in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data to support planning, reporting, and evidence-based decision-making in social and institutional work.

Participants gained practical knowledge of basic data analysis methods and learned how to prepare data-based reports that support social projects and institutional planning. The training also helped participants better understand the importance of data accuracy, reliability, and structured interpretation.
Impact
The training enhanced the technical and administrative capacities of participating teams and supported the use of data to improve project quality, assess community needs, and allocate resources more effectively.
