Ayman Abdel Nour served as an adviser to Bashar al-Assad during the early years of his rise to power. He was also appointed to several reform committees established to develop Syria’s political, economic, social, administrative, and judicial sectors at the beginning of Bashar al-Assad’s presidency. In 2004, Abdel Nour left the presidential circle and founded All4Syria, through which he became active in opposing the Assad regime. In 2007, he left Syria for Dubai and currently resides in the United States.
