Governance and Capacity Building Program
Context
Civil society organizations in Syria face significant challenges that hinder their ability to achieve their developmental and societal goals. Among the most prominent challenges are weaknesses in administrative capacities and limited use of business management tools and modern technologies, leading to inefficiencies in planning, execution, and resource management. Additionally, these organizations suffer from the absence of advanced methodologies and digital systems that could enhance their operational efficiency and help them adapt to a rapidly changing work environment.
To address these challenges, the Global Organization for Civil Society Advancement (GLOCA) launched the Governance and Capacity Building Program as a strategic response aimed at empowering civil society organizations. The program focuses on enhancing their administrative and technical efficiency, providing training on modern tools such as digital work systems, supporting the localization of capacities, and fostering a culture of sustainable governance. By offering innovative solutions, the program seeks to ensure the sustainability of these organizations and their ability to drive positive and lasting change in Syrian communities.
